Attention all Instagram influencers and social media enthusiasts who travel to foreign countries or even restaurants solely to take photos of, popular food dishes without paying.
Some destinations, such as Venice, will now need a payment. I don’t use social media, therefore I couldn’t relate to this trend. But everytime I eat out, I look for a decent restaurant with good scenery, beer, and food. I always take photos. I suppose that distinguishes me from those who follow trends. So I’m delighted to report that countries are introducing a new option for visitors or Americans to dine and interact with the lovely businesses and people of the location they’re visiting.

That way, whenever I have the opportunity to visit Venice, the experience will not be marred by tourists who came before me. And I can appreciate my vacation experiences. Fun Fact: Tourists can avoid costs by scanning the company QR code.
“This year, the fee days are almost doubling from 30 to 54 to manage peak crowds. Overnight guests are exempt as they pay a daily tourist tax. Locals, workers, students, and family visitors can also skip the fee if they register for a QR code.” — New York Post
