The Lord sends people into our lives to support us might not even be related to us. As an orphan, I encountered several families who appeared to be merely pursuing the monthly income that accompanies having a foster child.
Because I have feelings for women, 🏳️🌈 I once had a family that wanted to take me to church every week, to “convert” me into a heterosexual woman. Needless to say, that didn’t work out. Because it takes a particular sort of strength to love someone who has already experienced hurt from their own family members.
Unbelievably, I’ve always wanted a family, and I firmly believe that I would provide the best possible life for them. The joy and family time spent together, the things I didn’t have as a child, and the people you will always love. Your chosen family.
