Embracing God’s Family: Your Spiritual Inheritance

His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ”.

-EPHESIANS 1:5

POINT TO THINK ABOUT: I was formed for God’s family.

QUESTION TO CONSIDER: How can I start treating other believers like members of my own family? What could I do today?

The first thing I always tell fellow Christians is that God welcomes everyone exactly as they are, so why should I judge? It doesn’t matter how you honor God as long as it brings peace to others and pleasure into your life. I will begin treating other Christians like members of my family, lending a helping hand, listening without judgment, and motivating anyone and everyone to have a better life. Even if one believe’s they lack a family or a sense of purpose, others should live the life God intends for them. The first thing I can do is provide my assistance wherever it is needed, whether at a grocery shop, department store, church, or Walmart, If you believe in God and wish to connect, I encourage you to come with an open mind and a tranquil heart.

You were made to be a part of the family that God desires. This is the second plan that God had for your life before you were ever born. The story of God creating a family that will love, respect, and rule with him forever is told throughout the whole Bible.

You were given some incredible birthday gifts the instant you were spiritually born into God’s family: the family name, the family resemblance, the family inheritance, the family privileges, and the family personal access! Riches of God’s grace, kindness, patience, grandeur, wisdom, power, and mercy are bestowed upon us as members of his family.

(Ephesians 1:7, Romans 2:4; 9:23; 11:33; Ephesians 3:16; 2:4) We also inherit enteral life. What an inheritance! You are richer than you realize.
